Frontline Consulting Associates include experienced leaders and councillors who understand the politics of local government. We can help tackle any political management issues, within a political group or across the authority. We have provided advice and mediation, tackled governance issues and promoted compliance with the standards regime.
Many of us have experienced a change of control and know what it is like to take control of a council or go into opposition. Some of us have been on a council in no overall control and formed a minority administration. Some Associates have experience of local government reorganisation, having moved from two tier to unitary local government in a number of different authorities.
Our Associates bring experience of working in a majority ethnic authority that was recognised for its community cohesion, and also of working in other local authorities to address the impact of migration on communities and services.
